We primarily export Red/Pink Onions (including popular varieties like Nashik Red, AgriFound Dark Red, and “Colombo Quality”) which are known for their robust flavor, excellent shelf life, and versatility. We also offer White Onions which are milder and often preferred for specific culinary or processing applications. We offer onions in various size grades to meet diverse market demands. Common sizes include:

Our quality assurance is multi-layered. It begins with direct sourcing from reputable farms, followed by rigorous in-house sorting and grading to remove any damaged, sprouted, or defective bulbs. Crucially, all our export consignments undergo independent third-party laboratory testing (e.g., by SGS or Eurofins) for critical parameters like Pesticide Residues (MRLs), microbiological safety, moisture content, and freedom from pests/diseases. We provide comprehensive Certificates of Analysis (COAs) with every shipment.

Our standard export packaging for onions is 25 Kg Jute Bags, which provides excellent ventilation for freshness. We also offer other options such as 5kg, 10kg, and 50kg bags (jute or mesh) based on your market’s retail or bulk requirements. Custom packaging and private labeling options can be discussed for large orders.

When handled and stored correctly (in a cool, dry, well-ventilated environment), our properly cured and firm onions generally have an excellent shelf life of 3-4 months. Our meticulous quality control and appropriate packaging help maximize their longevity during transit and post-arrival.

Our standard minimum order quantity for bulk onion exports is typically one 20ft container, which holds approximately 12-13 metric tons, or one 40ft container, holding approximately 26-29 metric tons. We encourage you to discuss your specific volume needs with our sales team.

For new partnerships and initial orders, our standard payment terms are typically a 50% advance payment to confirm the order and secure stock, with the remaining 50% payable upon factory dispatch or against scanned shipping documents (Bill of Lading). We can also discuss Letter of Credit (LC) terms for larger or ongoing orders once a trusted relationship is established.

Our primary export port for onions is JNPT (Nhava Sheva) in Maharashtra, one of India’s largest and most efficient ports. For destinations like Colombo, we also utilize Tuticorin Port for potentially shorter transit times.
